KAREN SUMMERS WELSH
Owner
Karen has a B.S. in Ornamental Horticulture from Clemson University and has worked in the industry for more than 25 years. After designing for an award-winning interiorscape firm in Atlanta, Karen came to the Golden Isles in 1990. At Sea Island, she was Projects Coordinator for the Cottage Landscape Department, then Horticulture Manager of the Residential and Resort Landscape Flower Department.
Established in 1998, Coastal Bloomers allowed Karen to be more hands-on with design and implementation. Karen takes special pride in collaborating with customers, and delights in making inspired choices for her clients and their surroundings.
